Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in power systems design and hardware development.
- Experience with large-scale electrical and power systems in material handling environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and electrical schematics.
- Experience with arc flash calculations per IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E.
Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and optimize 3-phase power systems for material handling applications.
- Specify MDBs, PDPs, substations, transformers, switchgear, and panel schedules.
- Perform arc flash and load calculations to ensure safety and reliability.
- Develop single-line diagrams and power distribution schematics.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure constructible designs and standards compliance.
- Prepare A/E drawing sets and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
