Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Power, Standards, and Hardware Development Manager to drive the design, standardization, and innovation of power distribution and hardware for its material handling systems. You will lead a cross‑functional team to deliver robust power solutions, ensure safety compliance, and develop long‑term roadmaps across the global fulfillment center network.

You will partner with WWDE, Operations Engineering, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to advance power system strategies,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Engineering or related field.
10+ years in power systems design, electrical engineering and/or hardware development.
5+ years in a management or leadership role.
Experience designing MDBs, PDPs, and electrical substations.
Willingness to travel up to 30%, US and International.

Responsibilities

Lead design and standardization of power distribution for material handling systems across global facilities.
Develop and maintain electrical standards, drawings, and qualification tests.
Manage a team of engineers and technicians; mentor and develop staff.
Collaborate with Operations, Facilities, WWDE, and suppliers to deliver safe, scalable power solutions.
Ensure NEC/NFPA 70/70E compliance and electrical safety program implementation.
