Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Power, Standards, and Hardware Development Manager to act as a technical authority across its global fulfillment network. You will lead standardization and innovation of power distribution and hardware for material handling, focusing on safety, scalability and operational excellence.

This role drives engineering standards, roadmaps, and effective design reviews, coordinating with WWDE, Operations Engineering, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of power systems design, electrical engineering, or hardware development.
• 5+ years in management or leadership roles and experience with MDBs, PDPs, substations.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and optimize 3-phase power systems and distribution for material handling.
• Develop MDBs, PDPs, substations; ensure sizing, protection coordination, and code compliance.
• Perform load calculations, arc flash studies, labeling programs, and A/E drawing sets.
• Lead hardware design of electrical/electromechanical systems, including VFDs and sensors.
• Lead program specs for OneMHS and drive standardization across projects.
• Mentor engineers and manage timelines, budgets, and resources.
