Job summary

RESA Power is hiring a Sr. Service Field Tech to test, service and maintain high voltage power systems on-site across customer locations. Responsibilities include HV testing, start-up, inspection and repair of switchgear, breakers and transformers up to 500kV.

The role requires strong safety discipline, reliable on-call coverage and effective communication with customers. Applicants should have 2+ years’ related experience (Tech II) or 5+ years (Tech III) or an Associate degree with substantial

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required with 2+ years’ related experience (Tech II).
• High School diploma/GED with 5+ years’ related experience (Tech III).
• Associate degree or 10+ years related experience (Tech IV).
• Safety and electrical standards knowledge required (NETA/NEC/OSHA/NFPA).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and start-up high voltage systems up to 500kV.
• Perform switchgear, circuit breaker, transformer testing and repair.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
• Mentor and lead Level I–III techs as directed by supervision.
