Job summary

RESA Power in Houston, TX is seeking a Sr. Field Tech with progression paths for Tech II, III, or IV to service high voltage power transmission equipment. On-site role with emphasis on testing, commissioning, and repair across various voltage levels.

The candidate will work with a team to inspect and maintain switchgear, breakers, transformers, and related systems, ensuring compliance with NEC, NETA, OSHA, and NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with 1+ year in related field.
• Knowledge of NEC, NETA, OSHA and NFPA standards.
• Experience with high voltage equipment testing and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot high voltage systems up to 765kV.
• Test switchgear, breakers, transformers, and related equipment.
• Perform commissioning, troubleshooting and repair services on controls and transfer schemes.
