Job summary

RESA Power is seeking Sr. Field Techs to inspect, test and maintain power transmission equipment. This role covers high voltage distribution work and requires hands-on experience with switchgear, transformers and protective devices. The position is based at RESA Power sites, with heavy travel and union benefits.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, 5+ years in related fields, and a valid driver’s license. The company emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance and on-site reporting.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of NEC/OSHA/IEEE/NFPA requirements.
• Experience with high voltage equipment through 230 kV class.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and collect data on HV/LV switchgear and transformers.
• Perform start-up and testing on power distribution equipment up to 500 kV.
• Maintain, test and repair transformers and circuit breakers; 45 KVA to 130 MVA.
• Respond to emergencies; rotate on-call duties.
