Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Industrial Power Systems and Distribution to join our growing Electrical Engineering team.

You will lead the design, analysis, and implementation of low- and medium-voltage power systems for manufacturing and process facilities. You will work directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions from concept through startup and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or ABET-accredited program.
• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial facilities.
• Experience designing low-voltage power distribution systems for industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical design practices.
• Experience developing construction documents and design packages.
• Strong communication with clients and project teams; good organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel ~25–30% and work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power system design projects for industrial facilities.
• Develop construction packages with one-line diagrams, layouts, and schedules.
• Design LV/MV power distribution systems and related equipment.
• Perform electrical system analyses: arc flash, short circuit, protection coordination, load flow, modeling.
• Prepare technical specifications and procurement packages.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Support proposals, scope development, budgeting, and project planning.
