Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Industrial Power Systems and Distribution to join our Electrical Engineering team.

You will lead the design, analysis, and implementation of low- and medium-voltage electrical power systems for industrial facilities, from concept through startup and commissioning. Collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams, you will mentor engineers, develop technical specifications, and ensure adherence to NEC and

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 6+ years in electrical engineering for industrial facilities or related fields.
• Experience designing low-voltage distribution for industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical design practices.
• Experience creating construction documents and design packages.
• Strong communication and project execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power system design projects for industrial facilities.
• Develop construction packages: single-line diagrams, power plans, layouts, conduit plans, schedules, installation details.
• Design LV/MV distribution systems: switchgear, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, panels.
• Perform power system analyses: arc flash, short circuit, coordination, load flow, modeling.
• Prepare technical specs and procurement packages.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and assist with proposals and project planning.
