Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in industrial power systems to join our Electrical Engineering team.

You will lead design, analysis, and implementation of low- and medium-voltage power systems for manufacturing and process facilities. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and guide projects from concept through startup and commissioning.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from ABET-accredited program.
6+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial facilities, consulting, EPC, manufacturing, or related industries.
Experience designing low- and medium-voltage distribution systems for industrial facilities.
Knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical design practices.
Experience developing electrical construction documents and design packages.
Strong communication with clients, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical power system design projects for industrial and manufacturing facilities.
Develop electrical construction packages including one-line diagrams, power plans, equipment layouts, conduit plans, cable schedules, and installation details.
Design low- and medium-voltage distribution systems and associated equipment (switchgear, MCCs, transformers, etc.).
Perform electrical system analyses (Arc Flash, Short Circuit, Coordination, Load Flow, Power System Modeling).
Develop technical specifications and equipment procurement packages.
Assist with technical proposals, budgeting, and project planning.
