Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Industrial Power Systems and Distribution to lead design, analysis, and startup activities for diverse manufacturing facilities.

You will mentor junior engineers and manage multi-discipline collaboration to deliver compliant, safe, and reliable power solutions. You will perform arc flash, load-flow, and short circuit studies, develop construction packages, and coordinate with clients and teams to ensure successful

Qualifications

• BSEE/BSEET from ABET-accredited institution.
• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial facilities.
• Experience designing low-voltage electrical power distribution systems for industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical design practices.
• Ability to communicate with clients, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power system design projects for industrial facilities.
• Develop electrical construction packages including one-line diagrams, power plans, equipment layouts, conduit plans, cable schedules, and installation details.
• Design low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, panelboards, and associated equipment.
• Perform electrical system analysis including Arc Flash Studies, Short Circuit Studies, Protective Device Coordination Studies, Load Flow Analysis, Power System Modeling.
• Coordinate project execution with clients, contractors, equipment suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
