Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Industrial Power Systems and Distribution to join our growing Electrical Engineering team.

You will lead design, analysis, and implementation of low- and medium-voltage power systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial facilities, consulting engineering, EPC, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Experience designing low- and medium-voltage electrical power distribution systems for industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical design practices.
• Experience developing electrical construction documents and design packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power system design projects for industrial and manufacturing facilities.
• Develop electrical construction packages including one-line diagrams, power plans, equipment layouts, conduit plans, cable schedules, and installation details.
• Design low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, panelboards, and associated equipment.
• Perform electrical system analysis including Arc Flash Studies, Short Circuit Studies, Protective Device Coordination Studies, Load Flow Analysis, Power System Modeling.
• Develop technical specifications and equipment procurement packages.
• Perform electrical equipment sizing and selection.
• Apply NEC, NFPA, and industry standards to project designs.
• Coordinate project execution with clients, contractors, equipment suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
