Job summary

Matrix Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Industrial Power Systems and Distribution. You will lead design, analysis, and implementation of low- and medium-voltage systems for manufacturing and processing facilities, guiding projects from concept through startup.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, perform advanced power studies, and mentor junior engineers while delivering innovative solutions for challenging industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program.
• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial facilities or EPC environments.
• Experience designing low- and medium-voltage distribution for industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical design practices.
• Experience developing construction documents and design packages.
• Ability to communicate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power system design projects for industrial/manufacturing facilities.
• Develop construction packages: one-line diagrams, power plans, layouts, conduit plans, schedules, details.
• Perform power system analyses: arc flash, short circuit, protective device coordination, load flow, modeling.
• Prepare technical specifications and procurement packages.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
