Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Industrial Power Systems and Distribution to join our Electrical Engineering team.

You will lead the design and analysis of low- and medium-voltage power systems for manufacturing and process facilities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring engineers. You’ll work on EPC and design-build projects, perform advanced power system studies, and drive designs from concept through startup.

Qualifications

• BS EE or BSEET with ABET accreditation; 6+ years industrial facilities experience.
• Experience designing low- and medium-voltage facilities.
• Knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical design practices.
• Experience developing construction documents and design packages.
• Ability to communicate with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Strong organizational and project execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power system design projects for industrial/manufacturing facilities.
• Develop construction packages: one-line diagrams, power plans, layouts, conduit plans, schedules.
• Design LV/MV distribution systems and related equipment.
• Perform electrical system analyses: arc flash, short circuit, coordination, load flow, modeling.
• Develop technical specs and procurement packages.
