Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) team seeks a Power Systems Controls engineer to lead development, testing, and implementation of PLC and HMI software for power transfer applications. Travel about 35% and remote work from select U.S. locations including Appleton, WI are offered.

Responsibilities include following customer specs, BOM creation, and guiding Electrical Designers. Requires a Bachelor's in engineering with 7+ years controls experience (or 10+).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years of controls experience (or 10+ years in power distribution).
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR; candidates must reside within 50 miles of listed locations.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC/HMI software for Power Transfer applications.
• Follow customer specifications and internal project specs for implementation.
• Select components and create bill of materials (BOM).
• Provide sketches and direction to Electrical Designers for project drawings.
• Prepare submittals, SOO, and test procedures.
• Assist with factory testing and field start-ups; troubleshoot systems.
