Job summary

Amphenol ICC is seeking a Staff Power Systems Architect to serve as the primary technical liaison between customer engineering teams and internal product engineering, R&D, and applications engineering. You will gather requirements, translate them into power connector and cable solutions, and present strategic roadmaps to key customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience in power connector or systems engineering.
• Deep expertise in high-voltage/high-current power architecture.
• Executive-level communication and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy for requirements gathering and strengthening customer engineering relationships for power architecture.
• Translate system-level power architectures into connector and cable requirements for product development.
• Act as the senior technical spokesperson for power architecture discussions with customers.
• Shape multi-year connector/cable roadmap and investment decisions.
• Define specification frameworks and documentation standards for new products.
• Provide design-in support for complex qualification and validation challenges.
• Represent the organization in industry standards bodies such as OCP.
• Provide strategic customer and market insights to influence long-range roadmap.
