Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Power Systems Engineer to bridge customer power architecture and interconnect engineering. You will interact with hyperscalers and OEMs to translate requirements into connector and cable solutions.

You will work with product engineering and manufacturing on design-in, participate in customer-facing meetings, and help shape roadmaps by delivering Voice of Customer insights.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in power connector, systems engineering, or related field
• 1+ years of experience with Master’s degree in power connector or systems engineering
• Foundational understanding of connector development and power architecture concepts
• Ability to read and interpret system-level requirements and specifications

Responsibilities

• Capture requirements to develop power interconnect solutions
• Translate system-level power architecture into connector requirements
• Serve as front-facing technical contact for power architecture discussions with customers
• Partner with product engineering and manufacturing to deliver power interconnect solutions
• Develop technical requirement documents driving new product development and design-in activities
• Support qualification, validation, and design-in activities at customer sites
• Track relevant industry standards shaping roadmaps
• Deliver customer and market insights back into internal roadmap
• Support senior team in customer engagements
• Build working knowledge of the portfolio as applied to power delivery use cases
