Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal System Planning and Studies Engineer to lead the Power Delivery & Renewables team in North America. This senior role interfaces with multiple groups to ensure project execution, client engagement, and business development across utility and developer clients.

The candidate will oversee technical analysis, improve planning processes, and coordinate resources, with travel up to 20% to client sites and meetings across North America and abroad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PE License certification is required.
• Ph.D. in Power Systems is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow System Planning & Studies team with Power Delivery & Renewables leader.
• Perform load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability analyses and related studies.
• Develop enhanced planning processes, methodologies, and tools for quality and efficiency.
• Act as Project Manager, Proposal Manager, Program Manager and Technical Lead for client engagements and growth.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform QA/QC on work; engage with clients, contractors, vendors.
