Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead power-sector projects, including generation facilities, substations, and distribution systems. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams across offices, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery while maintaining client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering, 15+ years in project management, PMP preferred, and demonstrated experience coordinating engineers, vendors, and construction partners on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related technical discipline; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• PMP certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in project management, engineering management, construction management, or related leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Work with Client Experience, Client Strategy, Engineering & Operations teams to assess opportunities, develop proposals, define execution strategies, and assemble project teams.
• Manage multiple complex power-sector projects to deliver on time and within budget while managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk.
• Lead projects involving generation facility upgrades, utility interconnection support, substations, and power distribution systems.
• Support business development through client relationship management, industry networking, proposal development, and scoping.
• Interpret client needs and technical scope to develop clear scopes of work, schedules, and execution plans.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across office locations (electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, controls, environmental).
• Serve as primary client-facing project leader, facilitating communication with clients, utilities, contractors, and vendors.
• Manage project financial performance including budgets, forecasts, change management, and invoicing support.
