Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting, LLC seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead power-sector projects including generation, substations, and distribution work. You’ll manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client communications while guiding multi-disciplinary teams across offices.

The role requires 15+ years in PM/engineering leadership, PMP preferred, and strong stakeholder management. Anticipated salary ranges reflect market norms for senior power-industry PMs in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline; Electrical Eng preferred.
• PMP certification preferred or ability to obtain it.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in PM, engineering or construction leadership.
• Proven experience managing power-generation, substations, transmission or related electrical infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams across power-generation, substation and distribution projects.
• Develop proposals, define execution strategies, and assemble project teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and risk throughout project lifecycles.
• Interface with clients, utilities, vendors, and construction partners as primary project leader.
• Monitor financial performance including forecasts, change control and invoicing support.
• Support business development and client relationship management.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior project engineers and managers.
