Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead power-sector projects in Minnesota. You will oversee multi-disciplinary engineering teams, drive execution, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role involves client engagement, proposal development, and mentoring junior staff while coordinating with utilities, vendors, and construction partners. A Bachelor's in engineering and 15+ years of leadership in power projects are preferred; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in project/engineering management.
• Experience managing power generation, substations, or utility interconnections.
• PMP certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering and project teams in power projects.
• Develop proposals, define execution strategies, and assemble project teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk.
• Serve as primary client-facing project leader.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
