Lake Superior Consulting in Michigan seeks a Sr Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams on power generation, substations, and distribution projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, and risk while coordinating with clients, utilities, vendors, and construction partners.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, proposal development, and project controls, including earned value, forecasting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management or related technical discipline.
• PMP preferred, or ability to obtain certification.
• 15+ years in project/engineering/construction management or related leadership roles.
• Experience managing power generation, substations, utility interconnections, or electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams across power generation, substation, and distribution scopes.
• Develop proposals, define execution strategies, and assemble project teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, vendors, and construction partners.
• Maintain project controls, forecasts, and earned value reporting.
• Mentor and train junior project engineers and managers.
