Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary engineering and project teams in power generation, substation, and power distribution projects. You will collaborate with clients, utilities, vendors, and construction partners to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities include developing execution strategies, managing budgets and risk, and mentoring project engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• PMP certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• 15+ years of experience in project/engineering/construction management or related leadership roles.
• Experience managing engineering/EPC-support projects in power generation, substations, transmission, distribution, or related electrical infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline deliverables and client interface.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering and project teams for power generation, substation, and distribution projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and risk across the project lifecycle.
• Develop execution strategies, proposals, and execution plans.
• Coordinate teams across offices and with clients, utilities, vendors, and contractors.
• Provide client-facing leadership and status reporting; manage changes and forecasts.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers and project managers; contribute to process improvements.
