Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related technical discipline; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• PMP certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in project management, engineering management, construction management, or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering or EPC-support projects in power generation, substations, transmission, distribution, utility interconnections, industrial power systems, or related electrical infrastructure.
• Experience managing projects involving multi-discipline engineering deliverables, client interface, project controls, estimating support, procurement coordination, construction support, and project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to assess opportunities, develop proposals, define execution strategies, and assemble project teams.
• Manage multiple complex power-sector projects to deliver engineering services on time and within budget while managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk.
• Lead projects involving generation facility upgrades, interconnection support, substations, and power distribution systems.
• Support business development through client relationship management, proposal development, and identifying future opportunities.
• Interpret client needs and scope requirements to develop clear scopes of work, assumptions, exclusions, deliverables, and schedules.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams across office locations, including electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, controls, environmental, estimating, procurement, and project controls resources.
• Serve as primary client-facing project leader for assigned projects, facilitating communication with clients, utilities, contractors, vendors, permitting stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Manage project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, change management, earned value metrics, invoicing support, and cost/schedule impact identification.
• Drive project planning, controls, risk registers, issue resolution, lessons learned, and recurring status reporting to clients and management.
• Provide formal training, coaching, and mentorship to project staff supporting power and utility infrastructure projects.
• Assist with developing and improving project management processes, templates, and tools for power-sector delivery.
• Support internal initiatives to improve project delivery, quality, safety, client service, and performance.
