Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting (LSC) is seeking a Sr Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary engineering and project teams in the power generation, substation, and power distribution sectors. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality across complex EPC-type projects while coordinating with clients, vendors, and construction partners.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering (Electrical preferred), 15+ years in project/engineering management, PMP preferred, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• PMP certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in project management or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering or EPC-support projects in power-related sectors.
• Experience managing multi-discipline deliverables with client interface and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver power generation, substation, and distribution projects on time and within budget.
• Assess opportunities, develop proposals, define execution strategies, and assemble project teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, vendors, and construction partners on project delivery.
• Drive planning, controls, risk registers, and status reporting to management.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior project engineers and managers.
