Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Sr Project Manager to lead power-sector projects including generation facilities, substations, and distribution systems. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication.

The role emphasizes leadership, risk management, and collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Competitive compensation aligns with market expectations and project complexity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related technical discipline; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• PMP certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in project management, engineering management, construction management, or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering or EPC-support projects in power generation, substations, transmission, distribution, utility interconnections, industrial power systems, or related electrical infrastructure.
• Experience managing projects involving multi-discipline engineering deliverables, client interface, project controls, estimating support, procurement coordination, construction support, and project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams across LSC locations.
• Coordinate project scope, schedules, budgets, and client communications.
• Manage safety, quality, and risk throughout project lifecycles.
• Support business development through client relationships and proposals.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and PMs.
