Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with heavy industrial power plant experience. You will define scope, schedules, and budgets, manage costs, and ensure profitability while coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include leading change management, preparing project timelines, and guiding engineering disciplines. Travel is 10% or less, with a strong emphasis on delivering on-time, on-budget projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required and 13+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• PMI-PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Strong experience with heavy industrial power / EPC projects and design-build delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepare statements of work with work breakdown structures and gain approval from stakeholders.
• Manage project costs and profitability; oversee client billings and subcontractor invoices.
• Monitor project risks, changes, and escalation when needed.
• Lead meetings and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Closeout meetings, lessons learned, and monthly reports.
