Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with heavy industrial power plant experience to lead complex projects in the United States. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, profitability, and client billing while coordinating with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include preparing WBS and budgets, monitoring risks, managing changes, and mentoring less experienced project managers. Travel is 10% or less.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire/promotion on the Approved Project Manager list.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with budgets and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs to ensure profitability and handles client billings and subcontractor invoices.
• Monitors project status and risks; escalates issues as needed.
• Manages project change using change management protocols.
• Prepares project schedules/timelines and budget by group responsibility.
• Facilitates meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
