Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with heavy industrial power plant experience. You will define scope, schedules and budgets, coordinate stakeholders, and drive profitable project delivery.

Responsibilities include managing costs, client invoicing, change control, and mentoring junior PMs. Travel is 10% or less and a strong background in construction management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures and budgets.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Creates and reviews client billings and ensures timely payments; approves subcontractor invoices.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
• Manages project changes using change management protocols.
• Clearly communicates deadlines and objectives to the project team.
• Prepares overall project schedule/timeline and in-house budgets by group.
