Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with significant experience in heavy industrial power / power plants. Responsibilities include defining project scope, schedules and budgets, and ensuring profitability while coordinating with clients and agencies.

Ideal candidates will have 13+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and PMP/ CCM/ DBIA certification within 12 months. Travel is up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Thirteen+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire.
• Significant design-build/EPC experience with heavy industrial power clients.
• Strong budget, schedule and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepare statements of work with WBS and gain approvals.
• Manage project costs and profitability.
• Coordinate submittals with agencies and clients.
• Mentor less experienced Project Managers.
• Prepare monthly reports and bid packages.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders.
