Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial expertise in heavy industrial power plants. You will define projects, build schedules and budgets, and drive profitability while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining project scope, timelines, cost control, and effective communications with stakeholders. Travel is 10% or less and prior PMP/ CCM/ DBIA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with project management methodologies including budget development and scheduling.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders and vendors.
• Strong PC skills including MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Prepare statements of work with work breakdown structures and obtain approvals.
• Manage project costs and profitability; monitor invoices and payments.
• Coordinate submittals and approvals with agencies and clients.
• Mentor less experienced project managers and lead project teams.
• Prepare monthly reports, bid packages, addendums, and contract modifications.
