Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager to lead heavy industrial power plant projects. You will define scope, schedules, budgets, and objectives, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful project delivery.

Responsibilities include profitability oversight, tight cost control, client invoicing, risk management, and mentoring less experienced project managers as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list.

Responsibilities

• Create project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects.
• Prepare detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures and budgets, obtaining approvals from stakeholders.
• Manage project costs and ensure profitability.
• Prepare and review client billings and ensure timely payments; review subcontractor/vendor invoices.
• Monitor project status, risks and escalations; manage change using change protocols.
• Communicate deadlines and objectives to project teams; prepare project schedules and budgets by group.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders; facilitate meetings and provide guidance to engineering disciplines.
