Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent – Power to lead field operations on natural gas and thermal power generation projects. You will direct subcontractors, manage safety, schedules, and budgets, coordinating with engineering and commissioning teams to deliver on time and within scope.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CM or engineering and 12+ years in construction, including power projects; Lean principles experience; and a proven track record of delivering major power

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of construction experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (preferred).
• Proven track record managing major power generation projects.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff to ensure an injury‑free environment.
• Communicates project information to owners, design teams, authorities, subs and suppliers.
• Manages field operations, scheduling, and cost control across the project lifecycle.
• Oversees subcontractors, formwork/tools, procurement, and material logistics.
• Coordinates commissioning, turnover packages, and QA/QC with partners.
• Partners with project leadership to align staffing, changes, and risk management.
