Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a General Superintendent – Power to provide field leadership on natural gas and thermal power generation projects. You will direct field operations, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with owners, OEMs, and engineering teams to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires 12+ years in construction, 10+ years in field supervision, and a Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field; Lean principles and strong QA/QC focus help

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field (preferred).
• 12+ years construction experience.
• Experience leading major power generation projects from pursuit through closeout (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure an injury-free environment on site.
• Coordinate with owners, design teams, and authorities; manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain project documentation, logs, drawings, and reports.
• Evaluate progress and adjust self-perform work; control costs and material needs.
• Oversee formwork, tools, and equipment selection for self-perform work.
• Support procurement processes and project closeouts; ensure QA/QC compliance.
