Job summary

WSP seeks a Power & Energy Project Manager to lead high-level technical projects in the Power & Energy Program Management Office. Location flexibility includes Denver, CO and multiple other U.S.

sites; remote work is possible with periodic travel to client offices. Responsibilities include managing budgets, schedules, and risks across EHV transmission and substations, while maintaining QA/QC and safety standards; you will build strong client relationships and guide project teams to successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, PM/Construction or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of post-education project management experience in the industry.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery models (DBB, EPC, PDB).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with leadership and clients.
• Strong QA/QC discipline and safety awareness.
• Proficiency with MS Office and PM tools; ability to mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical project leadership across EHV Transmission and Substation projects.
• Oversee administrative, commercial, and technical components and ensure QA/QC.
• Develop proposals, cost estimates, scopes, schedules, and resource plans.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and change control.
• Provide regular project reports to clients and leadership.
• Develop strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Uphold safety standards and company policies; adapt processes as needed.
• Travel to client offices for meetings as required.
