Job summary

WSP is seeking a Power & Energy Project Manager for the Power & Energy PMO in Denver, CO. Remote work from any mutually acceptable US location is possible, with periodic travel to offices or client sites.

The role emphasizes leadership across technical, commercial, and administrative aspects of EHV transmission projects. The successful candidate will oversee multi-project portfolios, ensure schedule, cost, and quality targets are met, and mentor team members while adhering to safety and QA/QC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline with 12+ years PM experience.
• Extensive experience delivering large-scale projects (DBB, EPC, PDB).
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Proven track record in safety and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for large, complex projects with budgets, forecasts, margins, and KPIs.
• Lead development of proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost and change management.
• Participate in contract negotiations, presentations, and client meetings.
• Provide regular project reporting and mitigation strategies to leadership.
• Be the face of WSP for clients and nurture long-term relationships.
• Mentor staff and drive adherence to QA/QC and safety standards.
• Develop and standardize project management processes as needed.
