Job summary

WSP is seeking a Power & Energy Project Manager to lead high-level project management for EHV Transmission and Substation initiatives. You will guide administrative, commercial, and technical aspects across a broad portfolio, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction.

Occasional travel within the United States is expected as part of routine duties. The role requires a 10+ year track record in project management within the energy sector, strong communication skills,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant post-education project management experience in power/energy or A/E/C environment.
• Strong understanding of project delivery processes and various delivery models (DBB, EPC, PDB).
• Advanced skills in analysis, organization, and business acumen bridging business and project management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with leadership, subcontractors, and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management and disciplines across the project life cycle to meet cost and schedule objectives.
• Lead the development of proposals, cost estimates, scopes, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, and change management.
• Provide regular project reporting and updates to clients and leadership, identifying issues and mitigation strategies.
• Be the face of WSP for the client, building strong long-term relationships through tailored solutions and proactive communication.
• Adhere to QA/QC processes and continuously improve procedures and safety standards.
