Job summary

WSP is seeking a Power & Energy Project Manager for the Power & Energy PMO in New York, NY, with consideration for multiple U.S. locations. You will lead projects or a portfolio in EHV Transmission and Substation, overseeing scope, schedule, cost, risk, safety, and client satisfaction.

Travel to client and WSP offices will be required. The role demands a Bachelor's in a technical field and 10+ years in project management, with strong communication, leadership, and QA/QC capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or related experience in A/E/C, utility, EPC, or power delivery.
• 10+ years of post-education experience in project management within the industry.
• Proficient in project delivery processes and multiple delivery models (DBB, EPC, PDB).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management and disciplines to support cost and schedule objectives.
• Lead development of proposals, estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost and change management.
• Provide regular project updates to clients and leadership, flagging risks and issues.
• Be the face of the firm to clients, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
• Adhere to QA/QC and develop standardized processes as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and ethical conduct in all project activities.
