Job summary

WSP is seeking a Sr. Project Manager- Power & Energy in Denver, CO. Remote work within the United States is supported, with periodic travel to client offices and sites.

You will lead large, complex power projects, manage budgets, schedules, risk, and QA/QC, and ensure contract compliance while coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates hold PMP/CAP-M, 12+ years in project management, and a strong technical background in engineering and energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• PMP or CAP-M certification required.
• 12+ years of post-education experience in project mgmt.
• Strong understanding of A/E/C project delivery processes.
• Advanced analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Experience with QA/QC and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for large, complex projects and manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Develop strategies to engage stakeholders and report progress to clients.
• Lead pursuit/initiation activities, including risk mitigation and contract reviews.
• Participate in technical aspects of contract negotiations and meetings.
• Drive QA/QC reviews and ensure adherence to project plans.
• Mentor staff and provide leadership to project teams.
• Maintain project documentation (PMP, QP, PSP, etc.) and closeout activities.
• Ensure regular client communications and status reporting.
