Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager (Power & Energy) for the Fort Worth, TX portfolio within the Power & Energy Program Management Office. This role provides high-level technical leadership, guiding administrative, commercial, and technical components across multiple projects in line with contract requirements.

You will oversee performance, risk, and safety, while maintaining client satisfaction and driving value through strong governance and innovative project management strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline relevant to power delivery
• 12+ years of post-education PM experience in the power/energy sector
• Strong understanding of project delivery and multiple delivery models (DBB, EPC, PDB)
• Advanced analytical, organizational, and business acumen skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities across all levels
• Independent worker with leadership to mid-to-senior project staff and QA/QC discipline
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and PM tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, SharePoint)
• Ability to coordinate with senior management, subcontractors, consultants, and dispersed teams
• Adaptability to changing schedules and priorities while driving safety standards
• Uphold safety policies and ethical conduct within the company

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for large, complex projects and portfolios
• Develop proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost and change control
• Contribute to contract negotiations, presentations, and client meetings
• Deliver regular project reporting and risk/issue mitigation to clients and leadership
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction and retention
• Mentor staff and enforce QA/QC and standard processes
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Drive process improvements and adaptable project management practices
