Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Sr Project Manager (Power & Energy) to lead cross-functional teams on mid-to-large projects in Amarillo, TX. The role ensures the contract requirements, schedule, and budget are met while guiding technical, commercial, and safety aspects of the project.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, risk management, and collaboration with clients and stakeholders. A strong PM background in energy projects plus PMP/CAP-M is preferred, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related major or equivalent experience.
• Essential project management certification (PMP, CAP-M) required.
• 10+ years of relevant post-education PM experience in the industry.
• Proficiency with project delivery in the A/E/C sector and strong PM background.
• Analytical, organizational, and communication skills with business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross-functional teams to deliver mid-to-large projects on time and within budget.
• Lead development of proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resources.
• Create WBS and cost estimates; manage QA/QC and risk reviews.
• Mentor staff and manage client communications, reporting, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and project metrics.
