Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager, Power & Energy, for the Power & Energy PMO. The role is based in Tulsa, OK, with consideration for Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; and other U.S. locations, and may be performed remotely within the United States.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams and oversee budgets, schedules, and project performance. Ideal applicants have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 7–10 years of PM experience in the A/E/C sector, and PMP or CAP-M certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• PM certification (PMP or CAP-M) required.
• 7–10 years of project management experience in A/E/C.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross-functional teams to execute mid-size projects, including budgets, hours, expenses, deliverables, and contractual obligations.
• Contribute to proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Develop WBS tasks and estimated costs.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and appropriate technical reviews.
• Support margin analyses and risk contingencies.
• Coordinate contract negotiations and stakeholder meetings.
• Prepare project documentation (PMP, QP, PSP, etc.) and reports.
• Monitor project metrics, AR, and cash management; provide client updates.
