Job summary

WSP seeks a Project Manager (Power & Energy) in Houston, TX to lead large, complex power-generation projects. You will direct budgets, schedules, risk, and stakeholder communications while guiding teams and ensuring contract compliance.

You will develop proposals, manage forecasts, and coordinate with clients and technical leads to deliver projects on time and within scope. The role requires strong leadership and a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or related professional experience in A/E/C, utilities, EPC, or consulting.
• 12+ years of post-education project management experience in the power sector.
• Strong understanding of project delivery and different delivery models (DBB, EPC, PDB).
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, risk, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for large, complex projects with budgets, KPIs, and risk oversight.
• Develop proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost and change management.
• Engage in contract negotiations, presentations, and client meetings.
• Provide regular client reporting and maintain strong client relationships.
