Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Manager (Power & Energy) in Houston, TX to lead large, multi-discipline projects within the Power Generation program. You will manage schedules, budgets, risks, and client communications, delivering value through technical leadership and disciplined project controls.

You will guide teams through proposal development, scope and change management, and contract negotiations while maintaining safety and QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, civil, mechanical, PM or construction management or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of post-education project management experience in the power/energy sector.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, DBB/EPC/PDB models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with leadership and clients.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and change control.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for large/complex projects and oversee budgets, forecasts, margins, and KPIs.
• Develop proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost and change management.
• Participate in contract negotiations and client meetings.
• Report to clients and leaders, flag risks, and propose mitigations.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction and retention.
