Job summary

WSP in Lakewood, CO seeks a Power & Energy Project Manager to lead large-scale Power Generation projects within the Power & Energy PMO. You will manage financial, technical, and stakeholder aspects from proposal to closeout, ensuring quality and client satisfaction while guiding teams and enforcing safety standards.

The role requires executive-level project leadership, adherence to contract terms, and the ability to adapt processes to evolving project needs in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical or related discipline.
• 12+ years of post-education project management experience in the A/E/C/utility/power sector.
• Strong understanding of project delivery models (DBB, EPC, PDB).
• Advanced analytical and organizational skills with business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for large/complex projects, overseeing budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, and risk.
• Lead development of proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, and change management.
• Participate in contract negotiations, presentations, and client meetings.
• Provide regular project reporting and communicate with clients and leaders, addressing scope or budget issues.
