Job summary

WSP USA in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Manager (Power & Energy) to lead large-scale power generation projects and portfolios, ensuring technical, financial, and contractual performance.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets and schedules, and uphold safety and QA/QC standards while delivering client-focused solutions across the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in project management within A/E/C or energy consulting, with DBB/EPC experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
• 12+ years of post-education project management experience.
• Experience with DBB, EPC, PDB delivery models.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in project controls and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for large-scale projects; manage budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
• Develop proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost and change control.
• Participate in contract negotiations and client meetings.
• Provide regular project reporting and risk mitigation.
• Develop strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Mentor staff and ensure QA/QC.
