Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Power & Energy Project Manager in Lakewood, CO to lead technical project delivery across a portfolio of Power Generation projects. You will guide administrative, commercial, and technical components, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time performance while aligning with contract terms.

Responsibilities include developing budgets, schedules, proposals, and resource plans; managing risks and changes; and fostering strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical discipline.
• 12+ years of post-education experience in a project management role.
• Experience managing projects through delivery models (DBB, EPC, PDB).
• Analytical and organizational skills with business acumen to bridge business and project management.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with leadership, subcontractors, and staff at all levels.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
• Commitment to QA/QC and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for larger scale/more complex projects, overseeing budgets, forecasts, margins, and KPIs.
• Lead the development of project proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost and change management and control.
• Participate in contract negotiation, presentations, and meetings.
• Provide regular project reporting and updates to clients and leadership, identifying emergent issues and mitigation strategies.
• Be the face of WSP for the client by developing strong, long-term relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
• Mentor staff to support growth and development.
• Adhere to proven processes and develop new ones to standardize procedures.
• Adhere to safety regulations and project safety standards.
