Job summary

RTX in Tucson seeks a senior engineer with electronics expertise to design robust power, analog, or motor control systems for telemetry and flight termination products. This onsite role requires a DoD Secret clearance and a strong background in power electronics.

You will lead small teams, guide circuit card development, and collaborate with ECAD and systems teams to deliver high‑reliability power solutions for demanding military applications.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in STEM and 5 years of experience.
• Design, analysis, and testing of non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.
• Proficient with MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica.
• Experience in analog or digital electronics including FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters, terminations, and comparators.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion and related analog circuitry.
• Lead circuit card development from requirements to integration testing.
• Manage small teams with schedules and budgets.
• Guide ECAD layout and routing, assist in layer stack-up definition.
• Support ECAD personnel through PWB layout and drafting.
