Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer I in Tucson, AZ, onsite. The role focuses on testing and validating power conversion circuitry, including SMPS and analog sections, with emphasis on reliability and documented procedures.

The candidate will work closely with design and ECAD teams, participating in the full design cycle from requirements to integration testing. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field is required, along with hands-on circuit experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Design, analysis, test, and/or simulation experience with non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.
• Experience using MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar tools.
• Experience with analog electronics design (FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters, termination, and comparators).

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry (non-isolated and isolated SMPS and linear converters).
• Guide circuit card development through requirements to initial integration testing.
• Develop test procedures, perform data capture, and analyze results to verify requirements.
• Coordinate with ECAD drafters on layout and routing and assist in layer stackup definition.
