Job summary

RTX's Effector Analog & Power Design Team in Tucson, AZ is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to verify power and analog oriented products. You will work on telemetry, flight termination, and power regulation systems, applying test and validation strategies.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 8 years of experience or MS with 5, plus hands-on experience with test equipment and schematics. Relocation eligibility and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s in Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and 8 years' experience, or a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years’ experience.
• Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and test procedures.
• Experience troubleshooting circuit cards, at the component level Background using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications.
• Advanced understanding and ability to apply the theory of operation for the unit under test to enable determination of faulty product for design, workmanship, environmental and/or component defects on complex electronics.
• Work on systems validation, test and analysis while working through all phases of integration, and test validation activities within the Labs.
• Ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools and techniques.
