Job summary

RTX's Effector Analog & Power Design Team in Tucson, AZ is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to verify power and analog oriented products. You will work on telemetry, flight termination, and power regulation systems, applying test and validation strategies.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 8 years of experience or MS with 5, plus hands-on experience with test equipment and schematics. Relocation eligibility and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s in Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and 8 years' experience, or a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years’ experience.
Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and test procedures.
Experience troubleshooting circuit cards, at the component level Background using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

Working with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications.
Advanced understanding and ability to apply the theory of operation for the unit under test to enable determination of faulty product for design, workmanship, environmental and/or component defects on complex electronics.
Work on systems validation, test and analysis while working through all phases of integration, and test validation activities within the Labs.
Ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools and techniques.
