Job summary

Raytheon Technologies seeks senior-level engineers for the Effector Analog & Power team to design robust power, analog, or motor control systems. The role focuses on telemetry, flight termination power electronics, and low-noise analog interfaces for sensors, often operating under 10 kW and 1000 V.

You will lead design efforts end-to-end, drive schedules, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating across cross-functional teams in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced STEM degree.
• Experience with non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.
• Experience with MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar tools.
• Experience in analog or digital electronics design (FETs/BJTs, op-amp, filters, termination, comparators).

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion (and related analog) circuitry focusing on switch mode and linear converters.
• Lead circuit card development from requirements through integration testing.
• Lead small teams with schedule, budget, and technical execution.
• Define schedules for circuit-level tasking and ensure on-time delivery.
• Guide ECAD drafters through layout and routing activities and layer stack up.
